Allie is a delightful longhaired cat who has spent much of her life nursing kittens. This last litter was hard on her; when Allie came to Friends for Life Animal Rescue, she was as skinny as a cadaver with every back vertebra and hip bones sharp and defined. Her now-beautiful fur was thin, dull, and lifeless but her eyes begged for help. Allie loves to eat and her coat is growing in. Her talk is quiet but her interest in people and camaraderie is evident. She sits in window sills and watches the world outside, but really would like a place where she could roam the whole house and have her own people and maybe get to go out in her own yard with supervision. She is strong and healthy and ready to be a cat, not just a mom. When she's really happy, she drools just a little. Allie does want to be an only cat, but she will be a wonderful companion for whoever adopts her as a lifetime companion. Allie has been spayed, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, is current on her vaccinations, and has been treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this wonderful girl, please contact foster mom Gail at 360-420-2183 or 360-336-1009 or via e-mail at gail.andy@comcast.net . Her adoption fee is $50 in cash. Additional donations gratefully accepted.
