Ash is a tortoiseshell female with loads of personality. She makes sure that you know she is there. She always makes herself part of your morning and evening routine (to put it politely). She shows up right on cue, purring like a fiend, seeking a scratch or flopping at your feet. Sometimes her sister joins her. She often jumps up on the bed at night, purring, walks all over you, then flops down for a bit. She never stays long though and goes off to find her sister. 

Overnight tag games are common as evidenced by bunched up rugs in the hallway. She loves to pick up random things she finds on the floor to use as toys and has been known to carry her pet Cheerio up and down the stairs to play with. Other favorites are "killing" the jingling puffball on the cat tree and watching "Bird and Squirrel TV" at the sliding door. 

Ash is very bonded to her smaller litter mate, Ember and sees to as her job to protect her sister. They do almost everything together and would do best being adopted as a pair. 

Ember is sweet and petite tortoiseshell female that will steal your heart. 

She may seem shy at first but warms up once she gets to know you and her true colors shine through. She actively seeks out attention, expresses affection, and enjoys a good scratch on the head. 

Her routine includes a morning game of chase with her sister Ash, watching "Bird TV" at the slider door, and attaching her feather toy with gusto. She enjoys interactive play, chatting you up, and allowing pets ... on her own terms, of course. 

She shows up at the dinner table like clockwork just to say "Hello, how was your day" and to get some attention. She does not expect you to share your dinner but seems to like having her family gathered in one space to say hello. After dinner, she hangs out with the family and plays while you watch TV.

Ember and sister, Ash would do best to be adopted as pair because they are quite bonded. They do almost everything together. They are both still a bit jumpy around sudden movements but are learning each day that no one plans to serve them up for breakfast.
