Flower is a 6-month old female Black & Tan Coonhound mix. She is truly a beautiful, exceptionally bright puppy who loves everyone.  She was adopted and driven to Washington from Denver (she’s great in the car!), but it turns out that the dog who was to be her “older brother” is too gentle to set boundaries for this active, bright, adorable, beautiful puppy. 

Flower would be a perfect dog for a wonderful, active person or family.  She loves all dogs and just wants to play with them, so she would be good with another socialized dog who needs a playmate or with an active family.  She is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows sit, stay, down and come.  She is pretty good on the leash and is learning to heel very quickly.  She loves children but can get a little excited around them as she is still a puppy.  She hasn’t been exposed to cats yet.  

Flower needs a fenced yard and daily exercise to be happy.   She is a great dog and would make a great family member.  She will benefit from additional training to continue to mold her into the best canine citizen she can be!
