About Miss Maeve - GO

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Gray, Blue or Silver Tabby
  • Current Age: 2 Years 5 Months (best estimate)
  • Housetrained: Yes
  • Reaction to New People: Cautious

Maeve is a 5-6 month old female silver tabby with a little floof to her tail. She was found crawling on the road with a very disformed foreleg. X-rays revealed that she had a bad break to both forearm bones and likely had sustained trauma like being hit by a car as she also had a small wound on her jaw and some teeth missing. Now past the splinting and check-up x-rays, Maeve is able to run and play and loves pets. Maeve tends to be a little shy, but once she knows you are good people, she is all in for loves and play!

Maeve’s bones are healed, but she will forever look a little different and may hold her foot up at times. She is not in pain, but her forearm healed a little crooked – but it is functional and she uses it! The vet says there might be early onset of arthritis, but otherwise she is fine to do all things cat.

Maeve is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), and has been treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. Her adoption fee is $150.

If you are looking for a an older kitten with lots of love to give and receive, Miss Maeve might be the one! Please contact Gail at gail.andy@comcast.net or 360-420-2183.  Adoption form available here.
