Paloma is a beautifully marked white and black adult female looking for a quiet forever home. She is a good mama cat who knew to bring her babies to a sweet couple who feed the neighborhood strays.  They allowed Paloma into their home to have her kittens and called FFLAR for help shortly afterwards.

Paloma holds a special place in our hearts because we also put two orphaned kittens in with her crew and she accepted them immediately and raised them as her own.

Paloma’s kittens have all found great homes and now it is her turn.  She is learning to trust her peeps more every day.  She trusted us with her kittens right away, but was a bit wary of interacting with us at first.   Though she still darts  under the bed when startled, she gets braver every day and  is out and about in her room with the rest of the critters.  She loves her treats and allows gentle pets when eating them.  She is also starting to flirt with us, a sure indication that she is interested in making a human connection.

Paloma is safe in her foster home, but it is a chaotic home, not the best environment for our cautious little lady.  We feel that, given her recent flirting, she would really bloom in a quiet loving home once she adjusts to the new environment.  She is fine with the other cats in her room - as long as they respect her boundaries - but would probably be fine as an only child as well.

She has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for any potential parasites.

Paloma is such a special girl, fending for herself and her kittens in the wild, but trusting us enough to ask for help.  If you think you have a place for her in your heart and your home, please contact her foster mom, Laura, at (540) 272-3506 (cell).
