Shayla is a wonderful, sweet, and slightly talkative young brown tabby female. Shayla’s leg was badly broken in an unknown accident before coming to Friends for Life, and she underwent a lengthy orthopedic surgery, external fixators, and enforced crate rest with little complaint. After conducting her own feline physical therapy (careful stretches and increasing activity), she is now like new and ready for her own home to wander!

Shayla is a lover and would greatly appreciate a warm lap, cozy windowsill, fireplace, feline friend, and safe indoor-only home.  She talks and responds to human talk, but doesn’t yell or screech – just gentle conversation.

Shayla has been spayed, tested for feline leukemia/feline AIDS, microchipped, treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms, and is current on her vaccinations.
