Hi, my name is Marco. I’m a 7-months old playful male tabby who is looking for a quiet, adult-only permanent home. I’m completely up-to-date with all vaccines and microchipped.

I loved my current foster home in Bellingham very much for four weeks. I was very afraid of everything at first, but soon realized that a kind, cat-loving human lived with me. He works at home on his laptop but gives me lots of attention. Our home is quiet and peaceful, although I don’t mind music, zoom calls, movies or normal kitchen/household sounds once I get used to them.

For the first time in my adult life I’ve been able to totally relax and trust a human in every way. That’s allowed my affectionate nature to appear. I love to be petted and I have a nice loud purrbox. Eventually I may even nestle into your lap. I especially like rolling over to be rubbed on my beautiful white belly.

Of course it will probably take me a while to get that relaxed in my forever home, but at least now I know what the wonderful feelings of trust and kindness are like. I’ll hide a lot for the first week or so. (Have a handy bathtub I can hide in?) Later on, I’ll probably still hide when visitors arrive, but maybe I’ll get more used to them over time. There’s a possibility I could be friendly with another cat-friendly pet if you have one, but I’m not sure.

My foster human has told his friends I have all sorts of positive qualities. I agree. :)  He also says I’m mischievous sometimes, but that other cats my age are, too. So I don’t feel bad about that. I do have a lot of kitten-like play energy daily, which I love to burn off by chasing a laser light pointer — my favorite toy! But most of the day I’m happy to gaze out a window, nap, or entertain myself. My foster human says I’m easy to get along with.

Look over my pictures and you’ll see how adorable and cute I am, if I must say so myself! :)

Thanks for reading and considering me. I am a wonderful, loving cat for somebody special out there. Maybe you?
