Pavarotti is a stunning Maine Coon male who will bring lots of love and laughter to his forever home! He is always happy to see his peeps and comes to greet us when we get home. He loves, loves, loves chin and ear rubs and being brushed. Pavarotti has intense wildcat eyes in a noble face and looks very fierce, but he’s a big butterball love bug under all that fluff!
Pavarotti was abandoned or lost but luckily found a safe space under a kind family’s front porch and knew a good thing when he found it. He absolutely charmed them and was well rewarded with regular meals every day. They reached out to FFLAR to rescue this extraordinary cat because they were unable to take him in themselves.
He is not a big talker, but when we put him in a carrier to go to the vet, he treated us to a deep voiced opera to and from the clinic. Uninterrupted. So Pavarotti it was. He also happens to be a bit of a diva, so the name fit. Of course, Handsome Boy and Big Baby Lover Boy are used as frequently, but sound less impressive.
Pavarotti is a special guy and we are looking for a special family to adopt him. We are not sure he would do well with young kids, but he seems to co-exist well with the other cats in his room (as long as they understand the top tier of the cat tree is his). Despite his superior size, he does not seem to take an alpha role in his current habitat, but will stand his ground when necessary.
If you feel that Pavarotti would fit well into your heart and home, please contact his foster mom, Laura, at (540) 272-3506 (cell).
Pavarotti has been neutered, microchipped, tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, has been treated for worms, fleas, and ear mites, and is current on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $130 More about Pavarotti - LJApartment OK
