Panda was born July 1, 2019, along with 2 siblings. His mom was young - only around 6 months, if that; she was a kitten herself. Mom had her litter in Panda's first mom's backyard, and once she gave birth she was never seen again. All three kittens were rushed to the vet once found, in really bad shape and literally newborn. The first night of their lives, 2 of Panda's siblings died within hours of each other and in Panda's mom's hands. Panda ate, but his survival was questionable and health guarded. In his short life Panda has already overcome an infection where his umbilical cord was severed to close to his body; following that infection, he developed a different infection and again almost died. But he fought off both and lived after around the clock care. Panda is fairly new to being around other kittens; he met his first when he was 8 weeks old and his first mom took him for "play dates" with one of her friends' kittens. He was pretty entertained all by himself with all the toys!! He LOVES toys! Panda will play for hours, nap, eat, and then play some more. He has his favorite, which he will carry around his house with him. Panda's green mouse (and a purple one) and a little stuffed dog that he has had with him since day one come with him at adoption. Panda is super affectionate, loves to lay under his first mom's neck, and follows his people everywhere. His favorite things to do are hunt his mom from corners and under chairs (and then surprising her by jumping out) and play with his toys. He started to play a little rough, but his first mom was working on that. It sometimes happens when kittens grown up without littermates to teach and learn from. Panda is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, tested for FeLV and FIV, and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms. His adoption fee is $130, cash or check only (no cards, sorry).
